After a long life of 25 years, I’ve decided that life is full of surprises. Whether they be good, bad or just plain ugly, the beauty is what you make of them. I have created this blog to document all the shit and wonders in life. Don’t be offended, this is intended to make you giggle and address taboos, anomalies and the growing pains that happen to us all. Really I have created this for my own entertainment and amusement so if you don’t find it funny, tell your friends. If you do, tell me.
A tad about That Girl Ryan…
Like any typical 20 something, I am beginning to realize how much real life sucks. Out of college and into the work force, I am navigating all that this “American Dream” has to offer; tired, poor and busy. I work in social media which allows me to meet a variety of interesting individuals, I live a whole 6 miles away from my parents and I enjoy making others laugh, at any cost.
When they don’t laugh then I settle for making myself laugh.
I’m married. To a guy named Ryan, that should tell you how complex my life is-No, I did not change my last name when we got married and Yes, we do spell it the same way. Add on a vivacious 3-year-old little girl and two needy dogs and you have yourself quite a clutter of chaos.
My life isn’t perfect and that’s what makes it even better.
Wait, so your name is Ryan and your husband’s name is……..Ryan? Bw bwa Bwahahahahahaha!! Well, it’s probably not that funny, but you did call me really old or something like that.
I’ve been following your blog for a little while and I’ve nominated you for the LIebster award. You can play along or not – up to you!

Perfect is boring. I love your site! You have a great voice.
BTW, my husband’s aunt and uncle were Jean and Gene, respectively. An epic romance that lasted to their graves. Sounds like you two have a great start.
Thanks Piper! I’m honored 🙂
So glad to hear there are successful couples that have the same name. Our kids will be confused as hell, but at least it makes things simple. Thanks for visiting my blog and I can’t wait to read your new book!
You think that is confusing. My middle name is David, my dad’s name is David, my brother in law’s name is David and my son’s middle name is David. Okay that is my fault, but when your dad helps pay for the boy, he get’s honored with a middle name.
Lol ok, I now officially despise the name David. If your son names any of his kids David, he is just a cruel person.
My dad and brother in law will be sad to hear that but I don’t care because they should have not been named those names. Not my fault.
